Matt Warren and Friends Channel Nashville in the Round at Sundance

Matt Warren isn't new to the music scene. In fact, the Nashville singer/songwriter has been making music for over 25 years. And in 2026, his grassroots approach is beginning to pay off. Ahead of a private show in the Sundance Donor Premiere Lounge on January 23, Warren talked about his first song to chart in the top 100 on the AMA/CDX Top 200 Americana Singles Chart (his song "Long Story" landed at #94 days before his Sundance show) and dives into what it's like writing songs in Nashville, why he and Utah musician Wyatt Pike brought a Nashville in the Round style-show to Park City and why he's not afraid of AI.
